ROLE:

Veil Machine aims to make art through the vantage point and practice of sex work through art shows, community events, and publications wihile promoting sex working artists and building community.
They want people to leave feeling affected by a relation of power, desire, and intimacy that compels them to search for where else these relations exist and to rethink categories that seem stable.
Something pixelated seemed like a promising place to start since digital spaces are an instrumental part of modern sex work. The end result led to an experimental and unexpected mix of digital brutalism and blackletter ornamentation.
